Top Dawg Tavern is a family-owned and operated full-service casual dining restaurant known for its welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Since its founding in 2013, the restaurant has expanded to six locations across the southeastern United States, including Georgia, South Carolina, and Florida. Open seven days a week, Top Dawg Tavern proudly offers both lunch and dinner services, catering to families and customers who appreciate good food in a clean and friendly environment. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior kitchen or food service experience preferred but not required
  • ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
  • availability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
  • strong communication skills
  • positive attitude and team player mindset

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience in fry cook, line cook, prep cook, grill cook, chef, restaurant crew member, restaurant team member or other part time BOH restaurant job is highly desirable
  • ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
  • positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • basic food preparation skills
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
  • assist kitchen manager with daily tasks
  • prepare food to the exact specifications and set up stations for menu
  • prepare food for service such as chopping vegetables, prepping meat, or preparing sauces
  • cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
  • answer, report and follow the managers instructions
  • clean up station and kitchen equipment
  • stock inventory appropriately
  • ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
  • comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
