Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to follow food safety and sanitation protocols
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Physical ability to handle kitchen tasks
  • Prior experience preferred but not required

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience in fry cook, line cook, prep cook, grill cook, chef, or other back of house restaurant roles highly desirable
  • Ability to work in fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Basic food safety knowledge

Job Duties

  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
  • Assist kitchen manager with daily tasks
  • Prepare food to exact specifications and set up stations for menu
  • Prepare food for service such as chopping vegetables, prepping meat, and preparing sauces
  • Cook menu items in cooperation with kitchen staff
  • Follow managers instructions
  • Clean up station and kitchen equipment
  • Stock inventory appropriately
  • Ensure food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and timely fashion
  • Comply with nutrition, sanitation regulations, and safety standards
  • Maintain positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
