Job Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to follow food safety and sanitation protocols
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Physical ability to handle kitchen tasks
- Prior experience preferred but not required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in fry cook, line cook, prep cook, grill cook, chef, or other back of house restaurant roles highly desirable
- Ability to work in fast-paced kitchen environment
- Good communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Basic food safety knowledge
Job Duties
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Assist kitchen manager with daily tasks
- Prepare food to exact specifications and set up stations for menu
- Prepare food for service such as chopping vegetables, prepping meat, and preparing sauces
- Cook menu items in cooperation with kitchen staff
- Follow managers instructions
- Clean up station and kitchen equipment
- Stock inventory appropriately
- Ensure food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and timely fashion
- Comply with nutrition, sanitation regulations, and safety standards
- Maintain positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
