Job Description
Top Dawg Tavern is a family-owned and operated full-service casual dining restaurant offering a welcoming and relaxed dining experience. Established in 2013, the restaurant has expanded to six locations across the southeast, including Georgia, South Carolina, and Florida. Known for its clean, family-friendly environment, Top Dawg Tavern is committed to providing guests with quality food and excellent service throughout the week. Open seven days a week, the restaurant serves both lunch and dinner, making it a popular dining destination for families and individuals alike.
The Fry Cook position at Top Dawg Tavern is a vital role within the back of house team. Whether you seek full-time or part-time employment, this position offers flexibility and onsite training for the right candidates. Fry cooks are responsible for preparing food items for frying, monitoring fryer operations to avoid overcooking, and maintaining the equipment to ensure safe, efficient function. The restaurant values a positive attitude and a willingness to learn, as prior experience is welcomed but not mandatory.
This role involves preparing ingredients such as chopping vegetables, prepping meats, and making sauces to exact specifications that align with the restaurant’s standards. Coordination with other kitchen staff is essential to ensure food quality, timely service, and adherence to food safety and sanitation regulations. Fry Cooks will also assist in stocking and cleaning to maintain an efficient and organized kitchen environment.
Top Dawg Tavern looks for candidates who bring professionalism and a collaborative spirit to the workplace. Former experience in related roles such as line cook, prep cook, grill cook, or other back-of-house positions is highly desirable. The restaurant fosters a team-oriented culture, placing importance on good communication and mutual respect among employees and guests. For applicants, the hiring process is streamlined and paperless, encouraging submission of applications through the ZippyApp platform, including a cover letter that highlights why candidates are a great fit for the team. Working at Top Dawg Tavern offers an opportunity to join a growing family business that prioritizes quality, hospitality, and employee development.
