Job Requirements

- Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and percentages
- Ability to verify vendor invoice accuracy
- Ability to read, write, and understand English proficiently
- Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions
- Fully knowledgeable of department duties and policies
- Ability to pass standard drug test
- Capability to perform duties efficiently meeting productivity and safety standards
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in low temperature environments
- Able to climb ladders and perform cleaning tasks
- Sufficient visual acuity to verify invoices
- Ability to handle exposure to dust and cleaning agents

- Able to memorize weekly and daily promotions
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Observe all store rules and company policies
- Maintain a neat personal appearance and adhere to dress codes
- Adhere to shift operating hours as scheduled
- Follow health and safety regulations
- Receive and verify frozen food deliveries against invoices
- Manage price changes and report discrepancies
- Keep refrigerated displays fully stocked and presentable
- Maintain promotional programs and submit ad suggestions
- Control inventory to minimize stock issues and product loss
- Handle damaged and spoiled products according to policy
- Perform all grocery clerk duties as required
- Participate in safety committee and follow safety policies
- Assist in training associates
- Control utility usage and practice conservation
- Greet and assist customers courteously
- Record all shift hours accurately
- Use correct pricing and verify vendor invoices
- Keep merchandise rotated per policy and remove expired items
- Order merchandise to optimize sales and turnover
- Maintain cleanliness and equipment in frozen food areas
- Report maintenance or equipment issues
- Monitor and report temperature irregularities
- Enforce security standards and protect company assets
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Notify management of personnel or policy issues
- Perform other assigned duties as directed
