Job Requirements
- Applicants must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have flexibility to work various shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to perform precise measuring and frosting techniques following proprietary recipes
- Physical capacity to lift moderate to heavyweight items (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods
- Ability to comply with food safety guidelines and company policies
- Strong communication skills to report quality issues to management
- Dependability with consistent attendance and punctuality
Job Qualifications
- Applicants must be 18 years of age or older
- Previous experience in an operational support role at a bakery, restaurant, or food service environment is a plus
- Ability to understand written and oral directions
- Comfortable interpreting instructional documents such as recipes, order tickets, operating procedures, and health and safety rules
- Strong attention to detail and ability to measure ingredients accurately
- Ability to perform repetitious tasks requiring precise and continuous hand movements
- Ability to lift items up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Self-motivated and organized with capability to prioritize workload and work independently
- Commitment to food safety and workplace hygiene standards
Job Duties
- Follow NbC proprietary frosting recipe and application methods with precision and achieve productivity goals
- Utilize measuring instruments, commercial-grade or handheld mixer and pastry bag to frost cakes
- Prioritize cake pre-orders according to schedule and frost cakes for walk-in guest orders accordingly
- Ensure an adequate supply of samples and frosted cakes are available for guests in the bakery display case and maintain appropriate frosting and frosted cake par levels
- Adhere to proper packaging, labeling, and storage of frosted cakes as well as product rotation standards, and maintain frosting and refrigeration logs
- Monitor inventory of frosting supplies and notify management when replenishment is required
- Evaluate baked and frosted cakes to ensure NbC standards are met and inform management of any quality control issues
- Clean, sanitize and restock workstation, ensure frosting supplies are sufficiently prepared for the next shift, and wash any equipment if necessary
- Comply with all health and safety guidelines and NbC policies and procedures, including dress code and personal hygiene
- Maintain consistent work attendance and punctuality record
