Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of Tao Group Hospitality in-venue busser training
  • Food Handling Certificate
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to perform repetitive motions
  • Ability to maintain focus in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

Job Qualifications

  • Previous hospitality experience
  • Previous busser experience
  • Experience in a high-volume restaurant, nightclub, or lounge
  • Knowledge of food handling and sanitation standards
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive and professional attitude

Job Duties

  • Maintain professional appearance standards as directed in the employee handbook
  • Anticipate and accommodate the needs of guests
  • Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of tables
  • Communicate guest needs to front-of-house and kitchen staff
  • Deliver, fill, and refill water as requested or directed
  • Clear and reset tables including cleaning table areas and banquettes
  • Maintain general cleanliness of stations and venue
  • Comply with health and sanitation standards
  • Set up floor and side stations
  • Perform opening and closing side-work
  • Report breakage or damage to management
  • Attend and participate in pre-service meetings and training
  • Learn and share knowledge by observing and leading by example
  • Work as part of a team and support fellow team members
