Job Duties

  • Greet new parties and cordially welcome guests to the restaurant
  • Inform guests of delicious menu choices and make suggestions
  • Relay orders to the bar and kitchen using the point-of-sale (POS) system
  • Anticipate guests' needs and respond appropriately
  • Establish a friendly, professional rapport with guests
  • Bus tables when the meal is completed and prepare the table for the next course
  • Total and present the bill, accept payment, cash out the check, and make change
  • Problem-solve guest needs with courtesy, dignity, and respect
  • Extend closing greetings to guests as they leave, thanking them for their patronage
