Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous customer service experience
  • ability to multitask and maintain professionalism
  • basic knowledge of wines and spirits
  • ability to work weekends, evenings, holidays and special events
  • 2+ years of serving experience preferred
  • fine dining experience preferred

Job Qualifications

  • previous customer service experience required
  • ability to do wine service at table side while maintaining professionalism and engaging in conversation with members
  • intermediate knowledge of service styles and etiquette such as appropriate table settings, the sequence of service & wine service
  • must have previous knowledge on a point of sale system (POS)
  • must be available to work weekends, evenings, holidays and special events
  • 2+ years of serving experience preferred
  • fine dining experience preferred
  • possess a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with all departments and members

Job Duties

  • must have knowledge of a la carte dining, as well as wines and spirits service
  • must have a basic understanding of wines & spirits
  • responds to member inquiries about food preparation, cocktails, courses, and chef specialties, all while accurately recording their orders
  • identifying members' special dietary needs and special requests in the POS
  • keep kitchen staff informed by noting timing of meal progression in the POS
  • running food from expo line to tables and bar
  • maintains table setting by removing courses as completed, replenishing utensils, and refilling water glasses
  • ensure that the members are completely satisfied with the food served
  • accurately charge members for items purchased
  • prepare room for dining by polishing silver, setting decorations, condiments, candles, napkins, service plates, and utensils
  • additional duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
