Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous customer service experience
- ability to multitask and maintain professionalism
- basic knowledge of wines and spirits
- ability to work weekends, evenings, holidays and special events
- 2+ years of serving experience preferred
- fine dining experience preferred
Job Qualifications
- previous customer service experience required
- ability to do wine service at table side while maintaining professionalism and engaging in conversation with members
- intermediate knowledge of service styles and etiquette such as appropriate table settings, the sequence of service & wine service
- must have previous knowledge on a point of sale system (POS)
- must be available to work weekends, evenings, holidays and special events
- 2+ years of serving experience preferred
- fine dining experience preferred
- possess a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with all departments and members
Job Duties
- must have knowledge of a la carte dining, as well as wines and spirits service
- must have a basic understanding of wines & spirits
- responds to member inquiries about food preparation, cocktails, courses, and chef specialties, all while accurately recording their orders
- identifying members' special dietary needs and special requests in the POS
- keep kitchen staff informed by noting timing of meal progression in the POS
- running food from expo line to tables and bar
- maintains table setting by removing courses as completed, replenishing utensils, and refilling water glasses
- ensure that the members are completely satisfied with the food served
- accurately charge members for items purchased
- prepare room for dining by polishing silver, setting decorations, condiments, candles, napkins, service plates, and utensils
- additional duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
