Job Duties
- Overseeing all aspects of table maintenance and guest experience
- Cleaning, maintaining and polishing service section
- Ensuring superior hospitality and guest service
- Following sequence of service
- Describing menu, wines, and cocktails
- Ensuring guest understanding of menu
- Communicating special needs to kitchen
- Taking orders and entering into POS
- Monitoring guest satisfaction and reporting issues
- Completing opening and closing duties
- Collaborating with back-waiter
- Resetting tables promptly
- Serving wines and beverages properly
- Handling cash and processing payments
- Providing guest preferences to hosts
- Serving alcohol according to law
- Following health and safety standards
- Participating in product knowledge testing
- Attending training meetings
- Maintaining advanced menu and wine knowledge
- Holding responsible beverage service and food handler certificates
