  • Describing menu, wines, and cocktails
  • Ensuring guest understanding of menu
  • Communicating special needs to kitchen
  • Taking orders and entering into POS
  • Monitoring guest satisfaction and reporting issues
  • Completing opening and closing duties
  • Collaborating with back-waiter
  • Resetting tables promptly
  • Serving wines and beverages properly
  • Handling cash and processing payments
  • Providing guest preferences to hosts
  • Serving alcohol according to law
  • Following health and safety standards
  • Participating in product knowledge testing
  • Attending training meetings
  • Maintaining advanced menu and wine knowledge
  • Holding responsible beverage service and food handler certificates
