Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous customer service experience required
- ability to perform wine service professionally and engage members
- intermediate knowledge of dining service etiquette
- experience with point of sale systems
- availability to work weekends, evenings, holidays and special events
- 2+ years of serving experience preferred
- fine dining experience preferred
- professional and courteous attitude
Job Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience required
- ability to do wine service at table side while maintaining professionalism and engaging in conversation with members
- intermediate knowledge of service styles and etiquette including appropriate table settings and sequence of service
- must have previous knowledge on a point of sale system (POS)
- must be available to work weekends, evenings, holidays and special events
- 2+ years of serving experience preferred
- fine dining experience preferred
- possess a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with all departments and members
Job Duties
- Assist members by placing food and drink orders
- provide information about daily specials
- oversee ongoing table maintenance
- respond to member inquiries about food preparation, cocktails, courses, and chef specialties
- identify members' special dietary needs and special requests in the POS
- keep kitchen staff informed by noting timing of meal progression in the POS
- run food from the expo line to tables and bar
- maintain table settings by removing completed courses, replenishing utensils, and refilling water glasses
- ensure that members are completely satisfied with the food served
- accurately charge members for items purchased
- prepare room for dining by polishing silver, setting decorations, condiments, candles, napkins, service plates, and utensils
- perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
