Job Description

The Front Desk Supervisor role at Trump International Beach Resort is designed for a hospitality professional who excels in guest service and team leadership within a luxury hotel environment. This position is responsible for ensuring efficient and guest-focused front desk operations that adhere strictly to Trump International standards. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum three years of front office experience including front desk in a luxury property preferred
  • At least one year of front desk supervisor experience preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands and fingers
  • Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Experience using property management and reservation systems
  • Ability to communicate clearly with guests, management, and associates
  • Self-motivated, hardworking, and a team player
  • Ability to handle emergency situations professionally
  • Willingness to assist in other hotel operations as needed.

Job Qualifications

  • Three years of front office experience including front desk in a luxury property preferred
  • One year of front desk supervisor experience preferred
  • Experience with SMS preferred
  • Experience with Forbes standards preferred
  • Experience with I Prefer properties preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours according to priority and need
  • Proficient communication skills in English
  • Fluency in a foreign language desired
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with guest history databases
  • Experience with property management systems
  • Skilled in other relevant computer systems
  • Verifiable record improving guest service and satisfaction
  • Ability to motivate and lead teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well with other departments and co-workers
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Hospitality or hotel management education is a plus.

Job Duties

  • Welcome and register hotel guests with emphasis on fulfilling requests and adhering to credit policies
  • Display friendly, courteous, and professional manner in all guest interactions
  • Supervise guest lounge to ensure standards are maintained and items replenished
  • Coordinate guests’ special needs and preferences with relevant departments
  • Support revenue enhancement through house set up and upsell programs
  • Ensure proper check in and check out procedures per Trump International Standards
  • Accept reservations, changes, and cancellations in absence of reservations staff
  • Handle guest problems and complaints effectively to benefit guests and property
  • Reconcile shift accounts and manage cash out correctly
  • Oversee safety deposit box procedures
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and operating equipment
  • Communicate key information to desk staff and between shifts
  • Provide correct No Show listings to accounting
  • Maintain efficient credit balances on guests and owner accounts
  • Manage hotel emergency procedures with professionalism
  • Train front office and guest services staff
  • Improve guest satisfaction records
  • Optimize staff scheduling for financial performance
  • Assure guest expectations are exceeded through staff training
  • Direct staff performance with corrections and counseling
  • Maintain detailed guest history and preference records
  • Respond to guest feedback per Forbes standards
  • Ensure team knowledge of hotel services and amenities
  • Assign tasks and promote creativity among staff
  • Conduct ongoing training and certify associates
  • Act as manager on duty during management absence
  • Utilize property and reservation systems to maximize revenue
  • Motivate staff and maintain cohesive team
  • Communicate clearly and resolve problems with good judgment
  • Represent Trump International Beach Resort inside and outside workplace
  • Perform other duties as assigned and assist operations across hotel departments.
