The Front Office Shift Supervisor role at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa is designed for a hospitality professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and has a passion for leadership and guest service excellence. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Minimum 1 year of guest and hotel experience
  • Knowledge of phone systems and hotel property management systems
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Prepares daily reports for management
  • Prepares work schedule for front desk, bell and concierge
  • Records and documents employee attendance and performance
  • Supervises and trains agents within front desk, bell, concierge and call routing
  • Ensures department has necessary equipment for daily operations
  • Assists in guest check in and out, makes reservations, and answers incoming calls
  • Ensures each guest receives exceptional guest service and resolves guest complaints or disputes
  • Communicates with housekeeping on a regular basis regarding room status
  • Communicates, cooperates and coordinates with co-workers and managers in the Hotel Department and all other departments
  • Processes accurate cash and credit card transactions
  • Promotes the hotel/casino and all its services and facilities while maximizing occupancy and ADR
  • Processes daily reports, reconciliations, journals, etc. and accurately and in a timely manner reports any problems or discrepancies immediately to the Front Office Manager or Hotel Manager
  • Assures safety and security of all guests, customers and co-workers as well as protecting company assets
  • Assists in the preparation of commissions for OTA and Travel Agents
  • Checks in busses, groups, ensures keys are made and payment is collected
  • Assists in preparing weekly schedule
  • Ensures on-going training of Front Office Staff based on established policies and procedures
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned
