Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years hospitality experience in a similar position
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and web analytics tools preferred
  • Must be service oriented with excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Energetic and outgoing personality
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to follow directions with attention to detail
  • Team player with minimal supervision
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic financial knowledge and arithmetic skills
  • Typing speed of 45 wpm
  • Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Opera preferred
  • Ability to exercise confidentiality and discretion
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Availability mostly during business hours Monday-Friday with occasional weekends or holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum high school diploma or GED
  • Preferred college degree
  • 2+ years of hospitality experience in a similar front office supervisory role
  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office and web analytics tools
  • Strong customer service and sales skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of hotel safety and security protocols
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Opera systems
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion

Job Duties

  • Review VIP reservations, amenity orders, and guest resumes
  • Update computer systems with group inventory and non-inventory data
  • Supervise front desk operations including cash handling and balancing house bank
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues effectively
  • Communicate clearly with staff and encourage performance improvement
  • Organize and coordinate front office meetings
  • Monitor expenses to control costs and ensure staffing levels
  • Follow up on maintenance issues and ensure safety compliance
  • Implement emergency procedures and training
  • Assist other departments during high volume or absence of staff
