We are currently seeking a Hotel Front Office Manager to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role carries the responsibility of overseeing the overall performance of the Hotel Front Office and Wardrobe operations, ensuring seamless service delivery and operational efficiency. The Front Office Manager will be instrumental in creating, developing, and implementing effective organizational strategies that enhance guest satisfaction and optimize departmental performance. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in hotel front desk management, with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of hotel reservation procedures and yield management principles.

This full-time position reports directly to the Hotel Operation Manager and offers an engaging opportunity to contribute to the success of the hotel by driving revenue growth, managing room inventory, and maintaining high service standards. The manager will also play a key role in budgeting, financial planning, and inter-departmental coordination to ensure smooth operations. By leading and mentoring front office associates, the Hotel Front Office Manager will uphold a respectful workplace culture and enforce compliance with all safety and human resource policies. The role demands strong decision-making capabilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle guest complaints effectively while fostering a positive working environment. Job Requirements

  • Associate degree in hotel management or related field
  • Minimum of two years casino hotel front desk supervisory experience
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Familiarity with hotel reservation systems and yield management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage budgets and financial plans
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of guest service
  • Ability to comply with human resources and safety policies
  • Ability to work full-time hours

Job Qualifications

  • Associate degree in hotel management or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of two years prior casino hotel front desk supervisory experience with progressive supervisory advancement exhibited
  • Working knowledge of hotel reservation procedures and applicable principles of yield management
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to handle guest complaints effectively
  • Experience in budgeting and financial planning
  • Proficient in preparing departmental reports

Job Duties

  • Create, develop, and implement an effective strategy of organization for the front office of the hotel, ensuring maximum guest service and satisfaction
  • Achieve budgeted revenues and expenses and maximize profitability related to guest services
  • Participate in the preparation of the annual hotel budget
  • Develop short and long term financial and operational plans that correspond to overall hotel objectives
  • Manage the room inventory function to maintain highest possible room occupancy and average daily rate
  • Maintain procedures for credit control, handling of financial transactions, security of monies, guest security, and emergency procedures
  • Review departmental guest complaints, ensuring corrective action is taken
  • Prepare various departmental reports, including daily forecast of arrivals and departures
  • Control suite bookings, ensuring suites and special room blocks are handled correctly
  • Communicate with other departments to ensure proper handling of guests and groups
  • Facilitate the flow of information throughout the property by organizing and presiding over regularly scheduled meetings with front desk associates
  • Maintain consistent and regular attendance record
  • Properly train team members
  • Monitor associates' performance during their shift, providing coaching and counseling when necessary
  • Ensure compliance with all human resources policies and procedures, promoting an environment that treats all people with respect and prohibits discrimination and harassment
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental policies, procedures, and regulations within the department
  • Perform any other duties as assigned
