Job Description
Maricopa County Community College District (MCCCD) is one of the largest and most respected community college systems in the United States, serving over 200,000 college students annually. Located in Maricopa County, Arizona, the district contributes substantially to the local economy, adding an estimated $7.2 billion dollars and supporting nearly 100,000 jobs in one of the fastest-growing counties nationwide. MCCCD is recognized for its commitment to diversity, inclusion, and equity, fostering an environment of shared governance among employees and students alike. The district is home to several campuses that have been recipients of prestigious National Science Foundation grants aimed at improving undergraduate STEM education, particularly through programs supporting Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSI). Additional accolades include being named the 19th Best Employer for Women by Forbes and ranking 42nd among Arizona's Best Employers in 2019. The district also values workplace wellness, evidenced by its receipt of the 2020 Healthy Arizona Worksites Program award. MCCCD provides an open and supportive culture for a diverse workforce and student population, ensuring an educational and business environment free from discrimination as mandated by Title IX and the Clery Act.
