Job Requirements

  • Minimum one year of supervisory experience in hospitality or related field
  • ability to handle difficult situations and people with diplomacy
  • strong verbal communication skills
  • experience with Opera software and Microsoft Office
  • flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • preferred bachelor's degree

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • minimum one year of supervisory experience in hospitality or similar industry
  • ability to diplomatically deal with difficult situations and people while exhibiting integrity
  • effective and professional verbal communication skills
  • experience using Opera property management software
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Job Duties

  • Supervise all duties performed by the front office team
  • create and post all employee schedules in a timely manner
  • coach, counsel, and discipline employees when necessary using correct documentation and techniques
  • ensure all employees are posted at their stations on time and complete their essential duties before departure
  • assist with sick calls or tardiness by finding coverage and staying until coverage is found including night audit shifts
  • train and monitor all service levels provided by employees to guests and fellow employees
  • meet or exceed service levels required by the Mystery Shopper Survey
  • maintain all operational supplies and ensure expenses and labor costs meet budgeted requirements
  • ensure all employees follow cash and credit handling procedures
  • maintain the guest ledger and its proper daily maintenance
