Job Description

Delta Hotels by Marriott Phoenix Mesa is part of the globally recognized Marriott International hotel brand, known for providing upscale accommodations combined with the comforts and efficiency modern travelers expect. As a full-service hotel, Delta Hotels by Marriott Phoenix Mesa caters to both business and leisure travelers, offering a range of amenities, including comfortable rooms, meeting spaces, and thoughtful services designed to enhance guest experiences throughout their stay. The hotel prides itself on delivering exceptional hospitality, ensuring that every guest feels welcome, valued, and taken care of right from the moment they arrive. This positions the hotel as a standout destination in Mesa, Arizona, appealing to guests looking for both convenience and comfort in their lodging choice.

The role of the Front Desk Agent at Delta Hotels by Marriott Phoenix Mesa is a vital component of the guest experience, as these agents are often the first point of contact for arriving guests. Available in both full-time and part-time positions, this role requires individuals who are not only personable and professional but also adept in managing multiple tasks efficiently. The Front Desk Agent is responsible for greeting guests warmly, managing check-in and check-out processes, and ensuring reservation accuracy using advanced hotel property management systems, preferably Marriott's own PMS. This position also entails answering guest inquiries, resolving complaints with tact and professionalism, and providing detailed information about hotel amenities and local attractions.

In addition to guest interaction, Front Desk Agents coordinate with other hotel departments to address maintenance requests or other service needs promptly, guaranteeing that guests enjoy an uninterrupted stay. The agents also assist with administrative tasks such as invoicing and billing for guest services. Candidates should have at least one year of front desk or guest service experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced setting while collaborating effectively with team members. Being part of the Marriott family also means upholding the company's values of inclusivity and respect, as the hotel is an Equal Opportunity Employer, committed to diversity without discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, or any other protected status under applicable law.
