Job Requirements

  • Must be able to stand for a minimum of 8 hours
  • Must be able to lift up to 60lbs
  • Must have full availability 7 days a week including weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to work all shifts: AM, MID, PM, and occasional overnights
  • Reliable transportation required
  • Ability to remain composed and courteous under pressure
  • Must possess basic computer proficiency and minimum typing speed of 50 words per minute
  • Willing to abide by company payroll and conduct policies
  • Ability to travel as needed for hotel familiarization and meetings

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • College degree preferred
  • One or more years of previous front desk or related hotel/administrative experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Previous experience with hotel management systems such as OPERA preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Able to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic knowledge of arithmetic
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English
  • Professional and hospitality-oriented demeanor

Job Duties

  • Register guests and manage reservations including modifications and cancellations
  • Assist with hotel operator and concierge duties as needed
  • Communicate hotel features, services, and amenities to guests
  • Process guest check-ins and check-outs accurately using OPERA or equivalent systems
  • Maintain guest history files and set up accurate guest accounts
  • Resolve guest complaints and ensure high levels of guest satisfaction
  • Maintain organized and clean work area and ensure bank accuracy and security
