The Front of House (FOH) Manager role at Jalapeno Tree is a pivotal position responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the restaurant with a focus on guest service, bar performance, operational cleanliness, and staff leadership. In this role, the FOH Manager will oversee scheduling, training, and coaching of the front of house team, ensuring that all employees are well-prepared to perform their duties efficiently and courteously. The manager is also responsible for managing the bar and beverage cost controls to maximize profitability while ensuring product quality. Maintaining compliance with health and safety standards is crucial in this role to guarantee a safe environment for both guests and staff.
Shift leadership and performance monitoring are essential functions of the FOH Manager, who actively drives team morale and productivity. The manager handles guest interactions directly, resolving any issues promptly and professionally to maintain high satisfaction levels. As part of the onboarding process, all FOH Managers undergo comprehensive initial training in Tyler, TX before transitioning to their designated restaurant location, ensuring consistency and mastery of operational standards across all Jalapeno Tree venues. Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in a supervisory or management role in a restaurant setting
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- ability to stand and move for extended periods
- knowledge of bar operations
- commitment to maintaining high standards of guest service
- willingness to complete initial training in Tyler, TX
