Jalapeno Tree emphasizes a clean, upbeat environment where team members and customers alike feel at home. The company offers competitive salaries, benefits packages, and a collaborative work culture aimed at promoting long-term employee engagement and success.
The Front of House (FOH) Manager role at Jalapeno Tree is a dynamic, leadership position responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant's front of house. This includes managing guest relations, staff performance, bar operations, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards. The FOH Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that each guest receives a consistently positive dining experience aligned with the company's Crazy Good Mexican FoodTM promise. This position involves hands-on leadership during shifts, including coaching and developing the FOH team, managing schedules to meet business needs, administering bar and beverage cost control measures, and ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Managers begin their journey with comprehensive training at the Tyler, TX location, where they acquire the foundational skills and company knowledge essential to succeed. Post-training, managers transition to their assigned store locations where they apply these principles in real-world situations. The position requires someone with strong leadership capabilities, excellent communication skills, and a passion for hospitality. The FOH Manager will be pivotal in creating an inclusive, professional work environment that encourages teamwork and high performance. This role also involves operational responsibilities delegated from the General Manager, such as hiring and onboarding FOH staff, maintaining payroll records, and implementing new menus and promotions.

Candidates should be ready to contribute to a fast-paced work environment, demonstrating organizational prowess, a focus on guest satisfaction, and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently. This is a career-enhancing position offering competitive salary and bonus structures, insurance benefits, paid vacation, retirement plans, and clear pathways for advancement within the company. If you have a minimum of two years experience in a similar role in a full-service restaurant and are ready to lead with energy and dedication, Jalapeno Tree invites you to join their team and help continue a tradition of excellence in Mexican dining.
