Harry & Izzy's Paradise Valley is a forthcoming fine dining establishment slated to open in the summer of 2026 in Paradise Valley, AZ. The Front of House Manager role at Harry & Izzy's is a pivotal position responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the front of house. The manager ensures that employees consistently deliver guests excellent food and professional service aligned with the company's mission and brand values. This individual will be tasked with maintaining best practices and procedures to achieve company objectives related to sales, cost control, employee retention, guest satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness, and sanitation, working closely under the guidance of the Director of Operations. This role demands a seasoned professional with strong leadership skills, an eye for operational detail, and a passion for creating great guest experiences.
In this role, the Front of House Manager is responsible for monitoring staffing levels closely and making adjustments to meet or exceed customer demands effectively. This includes hiring, properly training, motivating, scheduling, and supervising front-of-house hourly employees to create a motivated and efficient team. A key responsibility is maintaining proper sanitation standards for all restaurant equipment, conforming to federal, state, and local laws governing employee scheduling and wages while ensuring the restaurant maintains a welcoming atmosphere with responsive, friendly, and courteous service to all guests. The position also involves a strategic component in increasing food sales and profitability by closely monitoring market trends and ordering processes.

Job Requirements
- 3-7+ years of restaurant management experience in fine dining
- Degree or certificate in a relevant field preferred but not required
- Certifications such as Level 1 or Level 2 Sommelier, WSET certification, or equivalent wine and spirits education preferred

Job Duties
- Ensures that all staffing levels are maintained and adjusted to meet or exceed customer needs
- Responsible for hiring, properly training, motivating, scheduling, and supervising FOH hourly employees
- Understand all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs
- Responsible for maintaining and ensuring proper sanitation of all restaurant equipment
- Conforms to all federal, state, and local laws governing employee scheduling and wages
- Increase food sales and profit by closely monitoring the market, orders and inventory
- Ensures all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service always
- Extensive knowledge of wine varietals, wine regions, vintages, and food pairings with the ability to confidently guide guests and train staff
