Badger State Brewing Company is an independent, family-owned beverage company located in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The role available is a key leadership position within the Badger State Brewing Company, specifically focused on the Green Bay tap room. It involves overseeing all customer-facing areas and food and beverage programming, working closely with culinary, marketing, sales, and production departments. As a crucial member of the leadership and management team, this person will be responsible for supervising taproom operations and profitability, reporting monthly progress to the company. The role includes maintaining a clean, friendly, and welcoming environment for all guests and managing daily quality metrics to assure the best possible guest experience. Engaging directly with guests to assist with taproom sales and providing knowledgeable answers to questions is an important part of the job.
In addition to guest experience management, the role encompasses staff recruitment, training, and supervision, including assistant managers. Leadership capabilities and a positive attitude are essential for motivating and developing staff to deliver outstanding service that reflects the company’s values. The position entails creating and enforcing standard operating procedures covering inventory management and reorder processes to ensure smooth taproom operations.
The role also involves event planning and coordination, supporting live music, festivals, and other events where food and beverage specials and sales opportunities are integral. Collaboration with marketing and sales teams is critical to promoting events and driving attendance. Operational oversight includes managing all hospitality areas, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and handling inventory management for bar supplies and hospitality materials.
Data analysis and reporting are important components of the position. Tracking guest feedback, analyzing data to identify improvement areas, and generating performance reports to present to management help guide continued enhancements in hospitality service standards.
