Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • minimum 6 months customer service experience
  • prior restaurant service experience
  • CA Food Handlers Certification required
  • must wear close-toed, non-slip shoes
  • ability to work in fast-paced environment

  • able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds

Job Duties

  • Welcome guests warmly both in the restaurant and on the phone
  • provide detailed menu information and promote food and beverage specials
  • accurately take orders using Point of Sale system
  • process payments including cash, credit, and gift cards
  • manage and reconcile cash transactions
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of work station
  • respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests
  • build positive guest relationships during dining experience
  • communicate effectively with staff and management regarding guest needs
  • follow allergen policies and procedures
  • handle guest issues and escalate to management as needed
  • maintain professional demeanor under pressure
  • follow established tip handling procedures
  • deliver beverage and food orders with enthusiasm
  • adhere to restaurant Standard Operating Procedures
  • greet and complete pick up for phone and online orders
  • provide responsible alcohol service and check IDs
  • prepare house beverages following recipes
  • maintain cleanliness of the restaurant including sidewalks, restrooms, and trash areas
  • perform opening and closing duties in service and cashier areas
  • assist fellow team members as needed
  • perform side work such as cleaning, stocking, and food portioning
  • clear tables and sanitize high-touch areas
  • report safety or sanitation hazards to management
