Job Duties
- Welcome guests warmly both in the restaurant and on the phone
- provide detailed menu information and promote food and beverage specials
- accurately take orders using Point of Sale system
- process payments including cash, credit, and gift cards
- manage and reconcile cash transactions
- maintain cleanliness and organization of work station
- respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests
- build positive guest relationships during dining experience
- communicate effectively with staff and management regarding guest needs
- follow allergen policies and procedures
- handle guest issues and escalate to management as needed
- maintain professional demeanor under pressure
- follow established tip handling procedures
- deliver beverage and food orders with enthusiasm
- adhere to restaurant Standard Operating Procedures
- greet and complete pick up for phone and online orders
- provide responsible alcohol service and check IDs
- prepare house beverages following recipes
- maintain cleanliness of the restaurant including sidewalks, restrooms, and trash areas
- perform opening and closing duties in service and cashier areas
- assist fellow team members as needed
- perform side work such as cleaning, stocking, and food portioning
- clear tables and sanitize high-touch areas
- report safety or sanitation hazards to management
