Job Requirements
- No formal education required
- Previous experience in food service preferred
- Basic written and verbal communication skills
- Completion of state Alcohol training preferred
- Current Food Handler certification required
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to handle cash and operate POS systems
- Basic math skills
- Ability to follow health and safety protocols
- Team-oriented attitude
- Good organizational skills
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service establishment preferred but not mandatory
- Basic written and verbal communication skills
- Completion of state Alcohol training preferred
- Maintain current Food Handler certifications required per state law
- Experience with basic food knowledge
- Familiar with industry best practices
- Ability to work as a team member
- Follows directions and instructions
- Ability to comply with physical demands as outlined
- Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations

Job Duties
- Warmly greet and acknowledge guests upon arrival and or while moving through counter service, bar or dining areas
- Recognize, engage, and learn the names and preferences of regular guests
- Bring or package and deliver dishes to appropriate guests after being prepared by the kitchen
- Deliver food and beverage orders to guests supporting all team members orders
- Ensure guests have appropriate utensils, sides, and accouterments for each dish
- Maintain current and accurate knowledge of the menu and be able to recommend and answer guest questions about dish ingredients and preparations
- Remain fully knowledgeable of all menu offerings, acceptable modifications, allergy protocols, and any other information needed to maintain guest satisfaction and safety
