Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Work experience involving guest interaction and customer assistance
  • Typing proficiency of 40 WPM
  • Computer experience including fax, copier, printers, and multiline telephone operation
  • Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to perform under stress with attention to detail
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Ability to lift and carry 40-50 pounds and perform physical activities like bending, reaching, sitting, and standing

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience in reception or customer service preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • Proficiency with computers and office equipment
  • Typing speed of 40 words per minute
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Knowledge of hospital protocols and visitor management

Job Duties

  • Greet and assist patients and visitors at the front lobby
  • Provide information and guidance about hospital locations and visiting policies
  • Maintain accurate patient registration documentation
  • Answer telephone inquiries promptly and courteously
  • Coordinate communication with hospital departments as needed
  • Uphold hospital visitation policies consistently
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as typing, faxing, and handling multiline phones
