Front End Team Member (Cashier)

We are currently seeking a dedicated Cashier to join our team, also known internally as a Front End Team Member. This role is pivotal in shaping the customer's shopping experience by delivering fast, friendly, and efficient service at the point of sale. The position is available in both part-time and full-time formats, providing flexibility to accommodate various schedules. Furthermore, this role may sometimes extend to include responsibilities as a sales assistant or merchandiser/stock associate, offering a diverse and dynamic work environment.

As a Cashier, you will handle sales transactions accurately and efficiently, which includes verifying customer identification, processing payments, answering inquiries, promoting the loyalty program, and responsibly bagging products. Delivering exceptional service and creating a personalized experience for each customer by engaging in friendly conversations and providing valuable information about our products and services is a key part of the role. You will also have the opportunity to participate in specialized training focused on wine, spirits, and beer to enhance your product knowledge and better assist customers.

This position requires a keen awareness of current advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs so that you can inform and assist customers effectively. Maintaining the highest standards of safety and cleanliness throughout the store is essential to ensure a pleasant shopping environment. Moreover, adhering strictly to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol is mandatory to uphold the company's commitment to a safe and compliant retail space.

The role also involves cross-functional responsibilities, including occasional assignments outside the traditional cashier duties, aimed at supporting overall store operations. As part of our team, you will report directly to the store management team and be an integral part of our frontline customer service operations.
