Job Requirements
- a high school diploma or GED
- 1-3 years of cashier or customer service experience
- flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- ability to pass a criminal background check
- punctuality and reliability
- physical ability to stand, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds
- willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced retail environment
Job Qualifications
- 1-3 years of cashier or customer service experience (grocery a plus)
- a high school diploma or GED
- a memory sharp enough to master Produce and Deli codes quickly
- a knack for genuine connection and clear communication
- the ability to keep pace in a busy, high-energy environment
- punctuality, reliability, and pride in a job well done
- ability to pass a criminal background check
Job Duties
- Ring up purchases quickly and accurately
- keep transactions smooth and friendly, even when the line is long
- check IDs and follow Idaho regulations when selling alcohol
- assist customers at self-checkout, making tech feel friendly and approachable
- jump in when things are slow—bag, tidy, restock, dust, wrangle carts, and keep our café and restrooms looking great
- learn our Webcart pulling and delivery process so online shoppers get the same great service as in-store customers
- defuse tricky situations with calm professionalism and a neutral smile (and call in a lead when needed)
