The Studio Advisor role at BODYROK is a vital position that serves as the frontline ambassador between the company and its members and guests. This role combines elements of customer service, sales, and studio operations, providing an opportunity for highly motivated individuals to grow with a company dedicated to excellence. The Studio Advisor is responsible for delivering the BODYROK Service Promise, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment, and supporting the instructors to create a positive community atmosphere. This position requires a customer-centric mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities with independence and initiative.

Working as a Studio Advisor, employees will engage with members and guests by greeting and assisting them both in person and via email communications. They maintain the studio’s cleanliness and operational readiness, including managing studios' front desk and general upkeep duties like towel service, bathrooms, and equipment areas. Moreover, Studio Advisors are tasked with driving revenue through personalized member engagement, promoting studio memberships, package sales, and merchandise. The role offers unlimited commission opportunities, empowering motivated individuals to maximize their earnings based on personal sales performance. The position is hourly with a base pay and additional commissions tied directly to successful sales. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1-2 years of customer service or sales experience preferred
  • proficiency with MindBody software preferred
  • must be able to work at least 2 weekend days per month
  • ability to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs
  • ability to occasionally sit, walk, kneel, and reach with hands and arms
  • comfortable interacting with people and making them feel welcome

Job Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of customer service or sales experience preferred
  • 1-2 years of MindBody software experience preferred
  • competitive drive to succeed in commission sales and performance-based culture

Job Duties

  • Provide member and guest check-in compliance
  • greet all incoming members and guests
  • ensure all check-in procedures are followed
  • thank guests upon exit
  • create new business through member promotions, referrals, and inquiries
  • promote specials to current and future guests
  • reach out to existing and potential members via email for sales opportunities
  • reconcile and report incoming and outgoing transactions
  • successfully attain personal sales revenue targets
  • tour potential members through the studio and connect guests to facility, equipment, services, and amenities
  • handle member service issues including address changes, billing, and payments
  • update supply request and maintenance logs
  • promote and sell merchandise
  • maintain a clutter-free, orderly, and clean front desk and entryway area
  • perform general cleaning duties including hourly bathroom and studio checks
  • follow up with members post-enrollment to exceed expectations
  • provide the highest level of customer service to guests and members
