The role of Studio Advisor at BODYROK plays a vital part in maintaining the vibrant, welcoming atmosphere essential for member satisfaction and retention. This position combines exemplary customer service with sales-driven responsibilities that contribute directly to the studio’s revenue growth. As a key frontline team member, the Studio Advisor supports instructors and engages with both existing members and guests, providing assistance that ensures a smooth and positive experience at the studio. The Studio Advisor is tasked with daily operational duties such as maintaining cleanliness, managing check-ins, and handling inquiries, which are crucial for sustaining the high standards BODYROK upholds. In addition to administrative and customer service tasks, this role offers lucrative earning potential through commission-based sales of memberships and packages. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to sit, walk, kneel, and reach with hands and arms occasionally
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs
- Comfortable interacting with people and making them feel welcome
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule including weekends
- Experience in customer service or sales preferred
- Basic computer proficiency
Job Qualifications
- 1-2 years of customer service or sales experience preferred
- 1-2 years MindBody software experience preferred
- Competitive drive to succeed in commission sales and performance based culture
- Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of sales practices and techniques
- Independent, self-starter with strong organizational skills
- Basic computer skills
- Strong communication skills in both oral and written
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Friendly, warm, compassionate, and welcoming personality
- Easy to talk to and comfortable around new people
- Must be available to work at least 2 weekend days per month
Job Duties
- Greet all incoming members and guests
- Ensure all check-in procedures are followed
- Thank guests for coming as they exit
- Create new business internally through member promotions, referrals, and inquiries
- Promote specials to current and future guests
- Reach out to existing and potential members via email for sales opportunities
- Reconcile and report all incoming and outgoing transactions
- Successfully attain personal sales revenue targets
- Tour potential members through the studio and connect guests to the facility, equipment, services, and amenities
- Handle member service issues including change of address, electronic funds setup or change, and billing questions
- Update supply request and maintenance logs
- Promote and sell merchandise
- Keep front desk and entryway clutter-free, orderly, and clean
- Perform general cleaning duties including hourly bathroom and studio checks
- Follow up with enrolled members to ensure satisfaction
- Provide the highest level of customer service in all interactions
