ELS is known for cultivating a supportive workplace where employees are empowered to deliver exceptional service to residents and guests while contributing to vibrant community living. The company is committed to diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity, making it a welcoming employer for all applicants.
Located in Lakehills, Texas, ELS is currently hiring for the Front Desk/Ranger position. This role is critical to ensuring the safety, enjoyment, and smooth operations of the campground. The Campground Ranger acts as the first point of contact for guests entering the property, helping with reservations, check-ins, and compliance with resort regulations. The Front Desk/Ranger position is ideal for individuals who possess exceptional customer service skills, a calm demeanor in stressful situations, and the capacity to act diplomatically and lawfully when enforcing local, state, and federal regulations. Candidates with a background in security, law enforcement, or relevant RV environment experience will find this role particularly fitting. In addition to performing routine patrols, property monitoring, and gate management, this role involves administrative duties such as handling reservations, selling day passes, and managing retail sales within the campground.
Flexibility is an important aspect of this employment opportunity as front desk and ranger duties require working weekends and holidays regularly. This role offers a comprehensive compensation package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance; a generous 401(k) employer match; and paid vacations, holidays, and sick time, supporting the well-being and financial security of its employees.
At ELS, you will join a respected organization that values safety, quality guest experiences, and operational excellence. The Front Desk/Ranger role is pivotal in maintaining these standards by being vigilant, knowledgeable, courteous, and responsive. Applicants can expect on-the-job training to familiarize themselves with resort-specific procedures and support for professional growth within the company. Join ELS and build a rewarding career in one of the nation's premier resort communities.
