Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous restaurant, retail, or cashier experience preferred but not required
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • strong customer service orientation
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • proficiency in English
  • ability to handle cash transactions accurately
  • ability to maintain a neat and professional appearance
  • problem-solving skills in guest service situations

Job Duties

  • Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through food, drinks, and games in a fun environment
  • act as ambassador greeting guests with a positive attitude
  • coordinate game rentals, merchandise sales, and telephone operations
  • keep immediate supervisor informed of issues and take corrective actions
  • bid farewell to guests ensuring satisfaction and inviting them to return
  • prepare for shifts by stocking supplies such as menus, silverware, power cards, and gift cards
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and host station
  • conduct merchandise inventory during and after shifts
  • foster a cooperative and harmonious working climate among team members
  • notify manager of any unhappy guests
  • assist other team members as needed
  • manage table turn timing by scouting, bussing, and cleaning tables
  • rotate seating to ensure fairness and balance
  • manage guest flow from front doors and direct needs
  • communicate wait times to guests, team members, and managers
  • deliver silverware to guests as seated
  • make timely and accurate bill transactions
  • greet and assist guests with a smile while processing transactions
  • reconcile monies from their banks
  • complete to-go orders ensuring accuracy
  • sell merchandise from the front desk when applicable
  • maintain a friendly and professional demeanor
  • communicate effectively with multiple guests generating enthusiasm
  • dress neatly and professionally according to guidelines
  • demonstrate ability to read and communicate in English
  • articulate clear greetings, assistance, and farewells
  • respond calmly to dissatisfied guests and report issues
  • be at least 16 years old
