The role of a Front Desk Team Member at CorePower Yoga is vital in delivering an extraordinary customer experience and executing smooth studio operations. This position works closely with the Studio Manager and Studio Assistant to ensure that students and customers are greeted warmly and supported efficiently throughout their interactions at the studio. The Front Desk Team Member embodies a welcoming presence, representing the studio’s friendly and professional atmosphere while also providing administrative support. Responsibilities include managing student check-ins, processing retail transactions, addressing customer inquiries and concerns, and facilitating communication between students and the appropriate studio staff. This role demands excellent interpersonal and communication skills to maintain superior customer service standards.

In addition to administrative duties, Front Desk Team Members support adherence to studio policies such as substitution and no-show rules as outlined by the Employee Handbook and studio management. Maintaining a positive working relationship with peers, instructors, and managers through open feedback and compliance with established studio practices is crucial. The role also involves light manual cleaning duties to uphold a clean, welcoming studio environment. Physical activity such as standing for extended periods, lifting moderate weight, and reaching overhead is part of the job requirements.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • customer service experience preferred
  • proficiency with computer systems or administrative software such as Zenoti is advantageous
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • physical ability to perform light cleaning tasks
  • willingness to comply with studio policies and maintain a cooperative team attitude

Job Qualifications

  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • professionalism and exceptional interpersonal skills
  • passion for the yoga lifestyle is strongly preferred but not required
  • ability to engage in physical activity for 1.5 to 3 hours at a time
  • ability to lift 15 lbs and reach overhead

Job Duties

  • Provide superior customer service via admin support
  • Effectively use Zenoti for class check-in, retail purchases, and student account support
  • Provide excellent customer service by promptly responding to student needs and concerns, and connecting students with the appropriate studio staff who can resolve their issue
  • Comply with expectations for substitution, no-show policy and other guidelines as outlined by the Employee Handbook and studio management
  • Maintain and support a positive working relationship with peers, instructors and managers by offering and accepting feedback
  • Must be respectful of, and at all times compliant with, CPY rules, policies and procedures and management direction as stated in the Employee Handbook
  • Follow cleaning guidelines to create a positive working environment
