Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or higher
  • 2+ years of customer service or insurance experience
  • Ability to work day shifts Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays
  • Willingness to travel to multiple work sites (Chattanooga, Cleveland, and Knoxville regions)
  • Strong organizational and training skills
  • Proficiency in data entry and electronic patient chart management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

  • 2+ years of customer service or insurance experience
  • High school diploma or higher

Job Duties

  • Training of new Office Coordinators (OCs)
  • Provide ongoing training for all OCs
  • Update training material as needed
  • Create and update policy and procedures as needed
  • Review of clinic spreadsheets including plan of care tracking, auth tracking, dropped patients, over the counter collections, call and walk in tracking
  • Coverage of front desk
  • Opening and closing tasks
  • Phone management
  • Creation and management of electronic patient charts
  • Accurate data entry
  • Greeting, escorting, scheduling patients
  • Completing intake, registration, processing of new patients
  • Insurance authorization tracking
  • Collecting copays, deductible, and co-insurance payments
  • Managing accurate bank deposits
  • Regular clinic visits (Chattanooga/Cleveland/Knoxville)
  • Insurance verification
  • Patient account audits
