Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience working at front desk in hospitality industry
  • Proven leadership abilities
  • Ability to handle guest complaints professionally
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer skills including Windows OS, MS Office, PMS, PBX, Key system and POS knowledge
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
  • Must maintain neat, clean and well-groomed appearance according to company standards
  • Regular attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 45 lbs
  • Strong issue resolution and analytical skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school or equivalent education required
  • Prior front desk experience required
  • One to three years experience in a supervisory role preferred
  • Knowledgeable of loyalty programs, brand standards and hospitality industry systems preferred
  • Must have excellent leadership capability and customer relations skills
  • Must possess basic computer skills
  • Good communication skills, verbal, written and electronic
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Ensure efficient guest registration, check out and telephone service
  • Observe front desk agents and ensure that established procedures are completed in accordance with policy and procedure
  • Maximize hotel revenues through up-sell program and occupancy strategies
  • Ensure guest complaints and requests are handled courteously and professionally with follow through
  • Monitor and respond to Guest Satisfaction Surveys and other guest comments
  • Direct and train Front Office staff and assist in new-hire and ongoing training
  • Organize staff breaks and ensure work is completed efficiently and according to schedule
