Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience working at front desk in hospitality industry
- Proven leadership abilities
- Ability to handle guest complaints professionally
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills including Windows OS, MS Office, PMS, PBX, Key system and POS knowledge
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
- Must maintain neat, clean and well-groomed appearance according to company standards
- Regular attendance and punctuality
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 45 lbs
- Strong issue resolution and analytical skills
Job Qualifications
- High school or equivalent education required
- Prior front desk experience required
- One to three years experience in a supervisory role preferred
- Knowledgeable of loyalty programs, brand standards and hospitality industry systems preferred
- Must have excellent leadership capability and customer relations skills
- Must possess basic computer skills
- Good communication skills, verbal, written and electronic
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Job Duties
- Ensure efficient guest registration, check out and telephone service
- Observe front desk agents and ensure that established procedures are completed in accordance with policy and procedure
- Maximize hotel revenues through up-sell program and occupancy strategies
- Ensure guest complaints and requests are handled courteously and professionally with follow through
- Monitor and respond to Guest Satisfaction Surveys and other guest comments
- Direct and train Front Office staff and assist in new-hire and ongoing training
- Organize staff breaks and ensure work is completed efficiently and according to schedule
