The current opportunity is with the Buffalo Marriott LECOM HARBORCENTER, a vibrant 205-room hotel located in Buffalo, New York. Situated conveniently off I-190 in the lively Canalside Entertainment District, this Marriott hotel offers guests a prime location next to the Key Bank Center, home of the NHL’s Buffalo Sabres. Visitors can also enjoy easy access to popular attractions such as Niagara Falls, just a short drive away. The Front Desk Supervisor role at the Buffalo Marriott LECOM HARBORCENTER is a full-time position starting at $19 per hour. This role is critical in maintaining the hotel’s high standards of guest service and operational efficiency. As Front Desk Supervisor, you will oversee all aspects of the Front Desk operations, ensuring top-notch service to guests and smooth daily functioning of the department. You will lead by example, fostering a positive team environment, and assisting staff in delivering exceptional hospitality experiences. Your responsibilities will include managing guest check-ins and check-outs, handling guest complaints satisfactorily, and maintaining complete knowledge of room types, rates, and availability. In addition, you will ensure that cash handling, payments, and credit policies are strictly adhered to.

- Prior supervisory experience a plus
- Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests management and co-workers
- High school graduate or equivalent some college preferred
- Bilingual English Spanish a plus

Job Duties
- Be available to work a flexible schedule including weekends holidays and varied shifts
- Maintain complete knowledge of hotel features room types rates room availability and expected arrivals departures
- Handle guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction
- Assist staff with their job functions to ensure optimum service to guests
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness sanitation and organization of assigned areas
- Present guest folios and process payments adhering to payment cash handling and credit policies procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
