The Guest Services Supervisor role, under the direction of the Guest Service Manager, is pivotal in maintaining guest satisfaction and ensuring seamless operation within the Guest Services Department at a conference center. This role demands supervisory oversight of the Guest Services Support Staff, guaranteeing day-to-night, 24/7 service coverage that reflects positively on the facility’s image. The Guest Services Supervisor plays an essential role in coordinating registration functions and transportation for guests, managing front desk and concierge teams, and implementing training programs designed in collaboration with Aramark and conference center clients.

Key responsibilities include supervising check-in and check-out processes, managing the Lobby Ambassador Program, and offering comprehensive guest orientation of local areas and conference center facilities. The supervisor ensures that telephone service techniques and PBX operation are executed proficiently, while also overseeing the handling of guest mail, messages, and special deliveries. Another significant duty is coordinating guest transportation reservations and demonstrating proficiency in the property management system while being familiar with the night audit function. This role also requires proactive guest assistance, timely follow-up on concerns, and managing sundries and supply inventory. Additional responsibilities include issuing safe deposit boxes, handling cashier bank openings and closings, and communicating closely with all departments to maintain a seamless and world-class guest experience.

The position demands design and implementation of thorough training programs to keep staff well-versed in daily functions, safety procedures, and Aramark policies. Moreover, the supervisor is responsible for ordering, storing, and maintaining an inventory of all necessary supplies, as well as establishing and executing emergency procedures to secure guest and staff safety. Job Requirements

  • Minimum two years experience in guest services or related field
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties
