Job Requirements
- Graduation from high school or equivalent
- At least two years of combined front desk and supervisor experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong interpersonal skills to manage customer relations
- Competency in computer systems for registration and billing
- Physical stamina to stand and move throughout the shift
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Graduation from high school or equivalent
- Two years combined prior front desk and supervisor experience
- Ability to effectively deal with customers with patience, tact and diplomacy
- Considerable skill in use of calculator and performing mathematical calculations
- Ability to read, listen, and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to access and accurately input information using a computer system
- Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations
Job Duties
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction to staff
- Assign and instruct Front Desk Agents and Doorperson in details of work
- Greet guests immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome
- Complete registration process promptly including inputting and retrieving information from a computer system
- Verify and imprint credit cards for authorization and handle cash transactions
- Answer telephone calls promptly and communicate messages accurately
- Maintain calm and alert demeanor during emergencies or busy periods and resolve customer complaints
- Manage inventory of supplies and prepare purchase orders
- Train new agents on daily duties and compliance with brand standards
- Monitor and track time and attendance of associates
- Ensure high Associate Satisfaction scores by fostering a positive work environment
- Perform duties across all shifts including Night Audit and PBX
- Turn in lost and found items and guest room keys
- Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures
- Assist other Front Desk Personnel as needed
- Perform related duties as requested by management
