Job Description

River Terrace Inn is a distinguished hotel located in the heart of Napa Valley, renowned for its beautiful riverfront setting and elegant blend of modern luxury with laid-back California charm. As part of the Noble House Hotels & Resorts family, River Terrace Inn offers guests an exceptional experience with personalized service and a pristine location that is just steps away from downtown Napa's finest shopping, tasting rooms, and the popular Oxbow Market. The establishment prides itself on creating a welcoming, energetic atmosphere that appeals to both locals and visitors alike, seeking memorable stays surrounded by the best that Napa Valley has to offer.

The Front Desk Supervisor role at River Terrace Inn is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of $24.00 per hour. This pivotal role involves assisting the Hotel Manager with overseeing the Front Office operations to ensure exemplary customer service, adherence to hotel policies, and achievement of financial objectives. The Supervisor is responsible for managing guest interactions from arrival to departure, ensuring a seamless, efficient, and friendly experience for all guests. This position requires a candidate who enjoys working in a dynamic, guest-focused environment and who thrives on leading a team to maintain the highest standards of hospitality.

You will monitor guest service quality, oversee cash handling procedures including credit card verifications and balancing of the house bank, and manage the timely posting of charges to guest accounts. Additionally, the Supervisor will handle VIP guest arrivals, troubleshoot property management system issues, and ensure compliance with safety and security protocols. Acting as the Manager on Duty during the absence of senior management, you will take leadership responsibility for operational needs, guest concerns, and emergency situations.

This challenging and rewarding position calls for an individual with a positive attitude, great attention to detail, and strong interpersonal skills. You will need to maintain a calm demeanor during busy periods and effectively resolve guest complications by using good judgment and thorough research. The role offers an excellent opportunity to advance your career within a reputable hospitality company committed to diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility. The River Terrace Inn team values dedicated, hard-working individuals who embrace a 'can do' spirit and a willingness to learn and grow within the organization.
