Job Description

Edge Fitness Club is a premier fitness center renowned for creating an inclusive, motivating, and high-energy environment where members feel supported and encouraged to achieve their health and fitness goals. As a company, Edge Fitness focuses on building a strong community-centered culture grounded in teamwork, enthusiasm, and expert knowledge. Their corporate office reflects these values by fostering a can-do attitude and a hardworking mindset among all employees, aimed at delivering exceptional service to both members and club employees. The organization places great importance on maintaining a positive workplace atmosphere that promotes fun and collaboration while remaining steadfastly dedicated to the success of the business and member satisfaction.

Joining Edge Fitness Club means becoming part of the Best. Team. Ever. The role within this dynamic team is the Fitness Club Supervisor, a critical position stationed at the front desk — the central hub where all daily business activities begin and end. This position is fundamental to the operations of the gym as it ensures that every member interaction is handled with friendliness, professionalism, and urgency. The Supervisor serves as the first point of contact for members and guests, providing a warm welcome to gym visitors, answering questions, processing transactions, and ultimately shaping members' overall gym experience.

The Supervisor position requires a unique blend of interpersonal skills, leadership abilities, and operational management. You will coordinate and supervise the day-to-day tasks of the Fitness Consultant team, ensuring front desk operations run smoothly while continuously improving customer service standards and membership retention. Your role will involve coaching and developing staff, managing scheduling, overseeing the club’s retail and shake bar areas, and maintaining the physical upkeep and cleanliness of the facility through regular walkthroughs.

Additionally, you will be responsible for resolving member concerns effectively, fostering a positive environment, and representing the gym as Manager on Duty during the General Manager’s absence. This multifaceted role demands a proactive and solution-oriented mindset paired with excellent communication skills and a passion for fitness and customer service.

Edge Fitness emphasizes personal and professional growth, offering extensive opportunities for advancement through leadership and development training, team-building initiatives, and a supportive culture that celebrates success and encourages innovation. In return for your dedication and hard work, Edge Fitness provides attractive benefits including free gym membership, tiered health benefits covering medical, dental, and vision, generous paid time off and holidays, a 401k plan to secure your financial future, and company-paid life insurance and long-term disability coverage.

Becoming an Edge Fitness Club Supervisor means you are more than just a gym employee; you are a valued leader who plays an essential role in changing lives by promoting health and wellness. If you have a positive attitude, a customer-oriented approach, and a forward-thinking mentality, this is the perfect place to advance your career while making a meaningful impact in your community. Join Edge Fitness Club and help uphold the reputation of being recognized as the best gym with the best team in the industry.
