We are currently seeking a Front Desk Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in overseeing the daily operations of the front desk, ensuring that all guest interactions are handled with professionalism and care. The Front Desk Supervisor will be responsible for guiding and supporting front desk agents to provide seamless check-in and check-out experiences, addressing any guest inquiries or concerns promptly, and maintaining overall service excellence. Additionally, this position requires coordination with housekeeping and maintenance teams to guarantee room readiness and resolve guest requests efficiently. The successful candidate will also step into the role of Manager on Duty as needed, demonstrating leadership and problem-solving capabilities.

This position demands a high work ethic, self-initiative, and the ability to work calmly under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility in scheduling, including weekends, holidays, and evenings, is necessary to meet business demands. Experience with hotel property management systems is required to manage guest accounts and room allocations effectively. Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years of previous front desk or hospitality experience
  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Proficiency in hotel property management systems
  • Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and evenings
  • High work ethic and self-initiative
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Willingness to work varying schedules as per hotel business needs

Job Qualifications

  • Previous front desk or hospitality experience required (minimum 2-3 years preferred)
  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in hotel property management systems
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evenings
  • High work ethic and self-initiative
  • Ability to calmly work with high demand and/or upset guests
  • May be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel

Job Duties

  • Supervise and support front desk agents during shifts
  • Ensure smooth check-in and check-out process
  • Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and escalations professionally
  • Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction and service quality
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards
  • Have complete understanding of Front Office staff's roles and duties and be able to perform duties at any given time
  • Accurately check AM and PM discrepancy reports
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness
  • Communicate effectively with housekeeping and maintenance regarding room status, guest requests, and maintenance needs
  • Efficiently process and follow up on guest requests by coordinating with the appropriate departments
  • Step in as Manager on Duty when required
