As part of our commitment to delivering superior guest satisfaction, we are currently looking to fill the position of Front Desk Supervisor, a key role within our Guest Services department. This position is full-time and offers a competitive salary, reflective of the candidate's experience and qualifications.The Front Desk Supervisor plays an essential part in maintaining smooth front office operations. Reporting directly to the Front Office Manager, this individual is tasked with overseeing and coordinating the daily activities of the front desk, reservations, and valet services. The role is pivotal in ensuring guests receive exceptional service from the moment they check in until check-out, reinforcing our hotel's reputation for hospitality and professionalism. The supervisor is responsible for leading and mentoring the Front Desk Agents and Night Auditors, fostering a productive team atmosphere that emphasizes high standards of service quality and guest engagement. They also manage guest requests promptly and efficiently, resolving potential issues with professionalism and tact, ensuring that every guest's experience is as pleasant and trouble-free as possible. Collaboration with various hotel departments is another critical aspect of the role, allowing for a seamless guest journey throughout their stay, from housekeeping to food and beverage services. The Front Desk Supervisor must have a keen eye for detail, strong leadership capabilities, and excellent communication skills to effectively manage the team and uphold the hotel’s operational excellence. This role requires proficiency in property management systems and reservation software, integral tools for managing bookings, guest information, and operational workflows. Additionally, understanding and respecting Native American culture and government processes are beneficial, reflecting our commitment to cultural sensitivity and inclusivity, especially as we offer a tribal preference for enrolled members. Candidates must be at least 18 years old due to gaming license regulations and must be able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screenings, random substance tests, and background checks. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • previous experience in hotel front desk operations or guest services
  • 1 to 2 years in a supervisory role
  • proficiency in property management systems and reservation software
  • applicant must be at least 18 years of age due to gaming license requirements
  • must be able to successfully pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screen random drug and controlled substance abuse tests background investigation obtain and maintain gaming license in California if applicable
  • native American preference and or experience with Native American culture and government preferred
  • tribal preference given to enrolled tribal members

Job Qualifications
