Job Description

The Front Desk Staff position plays a crucial role within our organization as the first point of contact for everyone entering our premises. This paid, in-person role offers a competitive hourly wage starting at $18.00 and is designed for those who possess a friendly demeanor, organizational prowess, and a dedication to superior customer service. In this role, you will manage front desk functions which include greeting visitors and clients, answering multi-line phone systems, scheduling appointments, and supporting various office management tasks. You will be responsible for maintaining a professional and inviting reception area, handling clerical duties such as document proofreading, filing, and data entry, and providing exceptional customer support through various communication channels. This position not only contributes to creating a warm and efficient environment but also offers an opportunity to develop and hone valuable administrative skills within a motivated team. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 1 year of experience in clerical or receptionist roles
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • strong interpersonal skills with a customer-oriented approach
  • availability to work in person during business hours
  • attention to detail and accuracy in data entry

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience in clerical work or as a receptionist in a fast-paced environment
  • strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications
  • excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse client needs
  • demonstrated phone etiquette and customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
  • familiarity with multi-line phone systems and office equipment such as printers and fax machines
  • experience with data entry, filing systems, proofreading documents, and basic bookkeeping is preferred
  • ability to manage time efficiently while handling multiple responsibilities simultaneously

Job Duties

  • Greet visitors and clients with a friendly, professional demeanor
  • answer multi-line phone systems promptly and courteously, directing calls to appropriate personnel
  • manage appointment scheduling and calendar coordination using office management tools
  • handle data entry, filing, and document proofreading to maintain accurate records
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area to uphold a professional appearance
  • assist with clerical duties including typing correspondence, medical records, prescription prior authorizations and filling out FMLA/Accomadation forms
  • provide customer support by addressing inquiries efficiently and courteously in person or via phone or email
