Job Duties

  • Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through food, drinks, and games in a fun environment
  • Act as ambassador by greeting guests with enthusiasm and managing game rentals, merchandise sales, and telephone duties
  • Keep supervisors informed of issues and take corrective action or suggest alternatives
  • Bid farewell to guests ensuring satisfaction and invite them to return
  • Prepare for shifts by stocking supplies such as menus, silverware, and cards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of front desk and host station
  • Conduct merchandise inventory during and after shifts
  • Foster positive working relationships with team members to promote morale and productivity
  • Notify manager of any unhappy guests
  • Assist team members as needed
  • Drive table turn timing by scouting, bussing, and cleaning tables
  • Rotate seating fairly and balance dining areas
  • Manage guest flow from entrances and direct guests efficiently
  • Manage wait times and communicate updates to guests, team members, and managers
  • Deliver silverware as guests are seated
  • Accurately calculate and process bill transactions
  • Greet and assist guests with smiles while processing transactions
  • Reconcile monetary transactions from cash banks
  • Complete 'To Go' orders accurately
  • Sell merchandise at front desk where applicable
  • Maintain a friendly demeanor and smile frequently
  • Communicate effectively to generate enthusiasm for Dave & Buster's
  • Dress neatly and professionally
  • Read, write handwritten notes, and articulate clear greetings, requests, and farewells
  • Respond calmly to dissatisfied guests and escalate issues to managers
  • Must be at least 16 years old
