Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and reservation systems
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to pass a background check and obtain necessary travel documents

Job Duties

  • Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing a positive first impression onboard the cruise ship
  • Check guests in and out, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately and efficiently
  • Handle guest inquiries and requests promptly and courteously, providing information and assistance as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring all supplies are stocked and equipment is functioning properly
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and in accordance with company policies
  • Maintain knowledge of ship activities, services, and amenities to assist guests with their needs
  • Follow all safety and security procedures to ensure the safety of guests and crew members
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Front Desk Manager
