Job Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Prior experience in a healthcare or administrative role preferred
- Proficiency in using electronic health records like EPIC
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Availability to work full-time Monday through Friday day shifts
- Commitment to patient confidentiality and professionalism
Job Qualifications

- Experience with EPIC or similar electronic health record systems preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of healthcare administrative procedures
- Basic accounting or cash handling experience
- Ability to work collaboratively with medical and administrative teams
Job Duties
- Proactively screens patients for pre-certifications, authorizations, and educates them on financial policies
- Manages front desk patient check-in and check-out, verifies demographics, collects co-payments, and handles paperwork
- Answers, screens, and routes phone calls from physicians, nurses, and administrative staff
- Completes patient scheduling activities ensuring timely appointments
- Documents patient information in EPIC for comprehensive clinical communication
- Reconciles payments, balances, and closes cash drawer daily
- Maintains patient experience and safety by following clinical policies and protocols
