Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED
  • minimum one year experience in hospitality with three months in security, or minimum one year experience in security with hospitality acumen
  • active WA Guard Card
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including Office and Excel
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • ability to multitask and prioritize
  • professional appearance and interpersonal skills
  • ability to handle office equipment
  • strong customer service orientation

Job Qualifications

  • minimum one year experience in hospitality roles including concierge, receptionist, office assistant, administrative or customer service specialist with at least three months in security industry
  • or minimum one year experience in security industry with client-facing hospitality skills
  • high school diploma or GED
  • associate or bachelor’s degree in communications or business preferred
  • active WA Guard Card
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Office and Excel
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills

Job Duties

  • welcome and greet tenants, guests, visitors, vendors, contractors and all others entering the building
  • recognize and greet client senior management when visiting
  • register all guests, visitors, vendors and contractors using sign-in procedures and visitor management systems
  • develop, maintain and manage vetted vendor list and access
  • manage lines during rush hours using mobile devices
  • handle queries, complaints and requests via phone, email and correspondence
  • notify tenants of guest arrivals and verify authorized visitors
  • assist visitors without tenant contact info to find appropriate contacts
  • communicate with tenants for visitor access
  • issue permanent personnel and visitor badges following security procedures
  • preprint and organize badges for large events
  • provide clear entry instructions and ensure understanding
  • assist guests with luggage
  • answer questions about building, amenities and neighborhood
  • collaborate with client and vendor personnel for tenant requests
  • monitor lobby cleanliness
  • set up stations for promotional activities
  • manage mail, package and food deliveries
  • conduct customer experience huddles
  • enter authorized work orders
  • provide additional client-requested services
  • monitor and control building access
  • maintain security awareness and report concerns promptly
  • monitor alarms and systems and notify client representatives as needed
  • maintain vigilant observe-and-report posture per security procedures
  • report building deficiencies and hazards
  • manage incidents including workplace violence, bomb threats and trespassing
  • act per Emergency Action Plan and post orders during emergencies
