Job Description

Touchmark is a community focused on enriching the daily lives of its residents through the principles of Excellence, Teamwork, Hospitality, Integrity, and Compassion. These core values guide every interaction and task performed within the community, from personal caregiver assistance to maintaining the physical environment. Operating as a residential care and hospitality provider, Touchmark fosters a supportive, respectful, and friendly atmosphere where residents feel valued and cared for every day. The community emphasizes a culture of allyship and generosity, expressing it through the mantra: I AM AN ALLY • I AM A FRIEND • I AM A GIVER. This commitment to a positive environment extends not only to residents but also to employees and guests, ensuring every experience in the community is warm and welcoming.

Currently, Touchmark is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to join their team for an evening shift from 2:00pm to 10:00pm, Monday through Friday. This role is integral to the daily operations, serving as the first point of contact for visitors, residents, and team members. The Front Desk Receptionist’s primary responsibility is to create an extraordinary first impression by welcoming guests warmly, managing incoming calls promptly, and providing assistance and information as needed. The ideal candidate for this position is someone who embodies Touchmark’s ethical standards and values and can multitask effectively in a busy, service-oriented environment. Responsibilities extend beyond conventional receptionist duties and include ensuring security by monitoring emergency pendants and pull cords, conducting perimeter door checks, delivering newspapers, and keeping the front desk area tidy. The position offers an opportunity for individuals to positively impact community life by being a dependable and approachable presence.

Touchmark requires that the receptionist possess a high school diploma or equivalent and have at least one year of experience in a receptionist, concierge, or similar service-related role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with basic office equipment are important skills for this position. Additionally, strong interpersonal and communication abilities are crucial for maintaining a patient and tactful composure when interacting with residents, family members, and fellow staff. This role demands someone who can handle multiple tasks seamlessly while upholding the values of hospitality and integrity at every interaction. Working in an environment that champions care, empathy, and collaboration ensures that the receptionist plays a key role in supporting the community’s mission.

Touchmark supports its employees by offering a competitive compensation and benefits package, especially for those working 30 or more hours per week. Benefits include paid time off, comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans for employees and eligible dependents, and opportunities for education assistance. The company also provides bonus and retirement plans, flexible spending accounts for healthcare, dependent care, and commuter expenses, on-demand pay options, an employee assistance program, and supplemental insurance options. These offerings demonstrate Touchmark's investment in the well-being and professional growth of its team members.

Join Touchmark and become part of a growing community dedicated to safety, compassion, and excellence. If you share these values and want to help create an extraordinary experience for residents and visitors alike, this Front Desk Receptionist position offers a meaningful and fulfilling opportunity.
