Job Requirements
- must have two year experience as a front desk receptionist and insurance verification with a doctor office
- proficiency in eClinical medical software system
- ability to type 45 wpm
- strong attention to detail
- excellent phone etiquette
- ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
- ability to maintain organized front desk area
Job Qualifications
- previous experience in a medical office or similar environment
- must have two year experience as a front desk receptionist and insurance verification with a doctor office and eClinical medical software system
- familiarity with medical collection processes and scheduling
- proficiency in using electronic health record systems e.g. eClinicalWorks is highly desirable
- strong typing skills and attention to detail
- excellent communication and customer service skills
Job Duties
- greet patients and visitors warmly ensuring a positive first impression
- manage medical scheduling and coordinate appointments effectively
- handle phone calls with professionalism demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
- assist with medical collections and process payments as necessary
- maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems such as eClinicalWorks Epic Dentrix or Athenahealth
- provide support to medical staff as needed ensuring efficient workflow within the office
- address patient inquiries and resolve issues promptly to enhance patient satisfaction
- ensure the front desk area is organized and welcoming at all times
