Job Description

America's Best is a prominent brand under National Vision, a leading optical retailer in the United States with over 1,000 store locations nationwide. The brand's unique approach combines comprehensive eye care services with an extensive selection of quality eyewear, all at an affordable price. America's Best continues to expand rapidly, providing accessible vision solutions to a diverse customer base. National Vision's core mission is to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to see their best and live their best lives by making quality eye care more affordable and accessible across the country.

The Receptionist role at America's Best is crucial as it represents the face of the store and creates the first impression for every customer. This position is responsible for greeting customers warmly and managing the front desk operations efficiently. Receptionists play an integral part in ensuring smooth daily operations, helping manage patient flow, and maintaining organized patient records. Handling customer inquiries either in person or over the phone with professionalism and courtesy is key to providing an excellent customer experience. This part-time or full-time role also offers the benefit of having every Sunday off, as the stores remain closed on Sundays, promoting a healthy work-life balance.

The ideal candidate for the Receptionist position will possess strong organizational and multitasking skills capable of juggling phone lines, scheduling appointments, and assisting with insurance documentation. Their role goes beyond simple reception duties, including verifying managed care plans, confirming appointments, managing patient files, and ensuring the reception area remains orderly and inviting. Responsibilities also extend to processing incoming mail and office supply inventory management. The position demands a proactive and detail-oriented individual who values working in a supportive team environment and embraces opportunities for growth through training and internal promotions.

Working at America's Best offers more than just a job. It includes access to comprehensive benefits such as retirement savings plans with company match, paid time off, parental leave, and an employee discount on eyewear. Education and career development are also emphasized through scholarship programs and access to training courses, promoting continuous learning and advancement within the company. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about customer service, interested in the optical retail industry, and seeking long-term career potential in a rapidly growing company.
