Job Requirements
- experience as a receptionist, front office representative or similar role preferred but not required
- 0-2 years related experience or training preferred
- experience handling multiple phone lines preferred
- strong customer service skills required
- strong organizational skills required
- fluent in reading & speaking both English & Spanish
- education: high school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties
- ensure high quality customer service while following all safety protocols
- ensure a smooth flow of customers through the store
- answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls in accordance with National Vision protocol
- process and understand managed care plans while obtaining document information from the insurance company as needed
- provide customers basic and accurate information
- schedule and confirm appointments, follow-up visits and classes
- file all patient records daily and pull patient files for the next day's appointments
- check order status and notify customers when orders are in or of any delays
- keep reception area tidy and presentable with all necessary materials
- receive, sort, distribute daily mail/deliveries and maintain inventory of office supplies
- participate in regularly scheduled mandatory communication meetings
