Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish
- Previous experience in customer service or receptionist role preferred
- Ability to handle multiple phone calls simultaneously
- Proficiency in managing patient records and scheduling
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Fluent in reading and speaking both English and Spanish
- Experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role preferred but not required
- 0-2 years related experience or training preferred
- Experience handling multiple phone lines preferred
- Strong customer service skills required
- Strong organizational skills required
Job Duties
- Ensure high quality customer service while following all safety protocols
- Ensure a smooth flow of customers through the store
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls according to protocol
- Process and understand managed care plans and obtain information from insurance companies as needed
- Provide customers with basic and accurate information
- Schedule and confirm appointments, follow-up visits, and classes
- File patient records daily and prepare patient files for next day appointments
- Check order status and notify customers about order arrivals or delays
- Keep reception area tidy and stocked
- Receive, sort, and distribute mail and deliveries
- Maintain inventory of office supplies
- Participate in regularly scheduled communication meetings
