Mid-Ohio Food Collective (MOFC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing hunger relief and supporting the needs of individuals and families in central Ohio. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One year of receptionist experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Effective communication skills
  • Organized
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service
  • Comfortable with learning new computer platforms
  • Ability to pass background check
  • Ability to pass drug screening

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One year of receptionist experience including use of a multi-line phone system
  • Experience interacting with the public
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Organized and able to provide exceptional customer service
  • Comfortable learning and using new computer platforms
  • Non-profit experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Greet and direct walk-in and telephone visitors to appropriate MOFC areas or meeting rooms and provide assistance to non-MOFC organizations on premises
  • Sort and deliver MOFC mail
  • accept carrier deliveries and coordinate couriers
  • Process financial transactions for sales, agency payments, and donations by providing receipts, cash payments, credit card payments, and/or check payments
  • Assist with office supply inventory and place orders as needed
  • Assist with volunteer services recognition and appreciation efforts
  • Support volunteer check-in as needed
  • Announce MOFC news, events, and tours
  • Conduct MOFC tours
  • Maintain and distribute the employee phone directory
  • Participate in special projects as necessary
